One feature which we love about the T42’s is how easy they are to connect with one another. Hassle free, all you have to do is turn them on and select your channel and at the push of a button you’ll be chatting in no time.

They come in twin packs of black & blue, black & red or alternatively a white triple pack with orange, green or blue. Included in the package, are 16 personalisation stickers which are a nice touch for kids to play with and allows them to really make the walkie-talkie their own!

However, whilst the spec says they can technically reach up to 4km in range, we wouldn’t recommend using these radios for adventures where direct line of sight may be lost as its been found that coverage can be intermittent at best when you can’t see the other user. Also, if heavy wear and tear is likely, another device is probably for you (check out our blog on T92’s) as the T42’s aren’t the most rugged of radios.

All that said, we believe this is the perfect walkie talkie for the kids to play with each other in the garden, whilst your camping under the stars or making sandcastles on the beach – just don’t get them wet!
