Compact and rugged design
The Motorola R7a is designed and tested to MIL-STD-810 military standards, meaning it is built to last in harsh, rugged environments. Device testing to IP66 and IP68 standards show that the R7a is dust-tight and protected from water immersion up to two metres for two hours.
Loud and clear audio
An adaptive dual microphone provides the end user with noise suppression capabilities that bring incredible audio to two-way communications. Automatic acoustic feedback suppression also allows your team to hear over the sound of machinery or busy crowds.
The R7a also delivers exceptionally loud communication via a powerful speaker that delivers 102 phons out of the box.
Reliable connection
The device features push-to-talk (PTT) for instant communication and has superior receiver sensitivity, allowing you to send and receive messages at the edge of coverage (where other devices may struggle).
